Bartender

Day Off Group is currently hiring a full / part time Bartender for BLVD Steakhouse.

BLVD is a 300 seat contemporary American steakhouse inspired by the restaurants and lounges along Hollywood’s Sunset Blvd circa 1950, and located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.

Our ideal candidate is kind, poised, and motivated to cultivate job advancement in a growth environment. The bartender we're looking for is able to perform calmly in a fast-paced environment and shares our sincere enthusiasm for genuine hospitality, authentic guest interactions, and restaurant culture.

Day Off Group is a Chicago-based restaurant group developing concepts that combine culinary excellence and impeccable service with a sophisticated, high-energy atmosphere to create one-of-a-kind experiences.

• 2 year of bartending experience in a full-service, high volume restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of restaurant cuisine and dining service.
• Impressive beer, wine, and spirit knowledge.
• Must present the willingness to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends, late nights, and Saturday through Wednesday availability.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of 8 hours or more.
• Must have State of Illinois Basset Certification.
• Must have State of Illinois Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have complete knowledge and understanding of sanitation and safety laws.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to serve alcohol in the city of Chicago.
