Roles / Responsibilities :

  • Transition legacy systems into GoldKey while ensuring data integrity and validation.
  • Embed Impervious Surface Reviews into Paving & Drainage workflows.
  • Optimize Building Permit processes and implement automated workload assignment.
  • Facilitate compliance with impervious surface review regulations, environmental and historical preservation requirements, and municipal Sewer Extension Permits.
  • Work with automated workflows, develop customer-facing applications, and implement online submission, tracking, invoicing, payments, and ECM integration.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including county analysts and vendors.

Mandatory Skills :

  • C# - Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP), .NET Framework, debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • JavaScript & jQuery - Strong grasp of core JavaScript concepts, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming, and AJAX for dynamic web interactions.
  • Oracle & SQL - Expertise in PL / SQL, query optimization, and writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and database normalization for structured data management.
  • MVC Framework - Ability to implement MVC architecture, routing, and security best practices to streamline development workflows.
  • Windows & Web Services - Experience with Windows Application development, RESTful / SOAP APIs, and authentication mechanisms for secure system integrations.
  • SSIS & SSRS - Deep understanding of ETL processes, data transformations, performance tuning in SSIS, and designing, deploying, and integrating reports in SSRS for efficient data reporting.
  • Experience with Large-Scale Systems - Practical knowledge of modernizing and integrating multiple applications, supporting county-wide permitting and review processes, and migrating legacy systems (PEN, MS Access, Mainframe) into modern platforms.
  • Project & Process Automation - Ability to work with automated workflows, develop customer-facing applications, and implement online submission, tracking, invoicing, payments, and ECM integration for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills - Attention to detail, proficiency in written / verbal communication, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including county analysts and vendors.
  • Desirable Skills :

    Prior work in government agencies or organizations managing large-scale data migrations and system integrations preferred
