About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for an engaging 120-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity starts on Sep 15, 2025, and features a schedule primarily from 7am to 5pm, including responsibilities such as rounding, first assist, and vein harvesting. The role requires NCCPA certification and proficiency with Maquet Hemopro 2, as well as ACLS and BLS certifications. Ideal candidates should be prepared for a rotating call schedule, enhancing their scope of practice in a dynamic clinical environment.

  • Provide first assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries

  • Ensure adherence to all surgical protocols and safety standards

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS
  • Must be NCCPA certified and have recent experience with Maquet Hemopro 2
