Machining Lead
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary : Set up and operate numerical control program machines to fabricate parts by performing the following duties. Lead, develop, train programmer(s) and operators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise all machining CNC programmers. Ensure all new machines are programmed and commissioned to schedule.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Personal computer skills including AutoCAD, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum two years related experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to comprehend drawings, instructions, correspondents and memos in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume and apply concepts of algebra and geometry. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee is subject to extreme weather conditions of temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and / or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit for periods of more than one hour. The employee should also consider the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind, p recipitation, and humidity.
