Opportunity : Rad Tech - Radiology Job Details : - Work 4x10 rotating shifts, Monday through Friday - 40 guaranteed hours per week - Required to take 1 night call during the week and 1 weekend call shift (Saturday and Sunday) every 5 weeks - Must pick up one additional shift during schedule period - May float to other departments based on competency level - Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts - Facility reserves right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census - Must hold American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T. (R) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Nevada Radiation Control Program License required - AHA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience and 2 years traveler experience required - Experience in both scrubbing and panning the X-Ray Table for Cath and EP procedures required - Responsible for producing optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care - Provide radiology services to patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric - Operate interventional imaging equipment and related machinery - Perform as first assist to Interventional Cardiologist, Vascular Surgeon, or Interventional Radiologist - Set up sterile trays and maintain room sterility - Additional duties include circulating, manipulation of drains and lines, suturing, billing and filming, supplies stocking, and charting Facility : This healthcare facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually.
