Security Administrators are responsible for executing user access requests, maintaining access controls, and promoting data security awareness. They stay current with security technologies, assist in developing and installing security hardware and software, and provide security consulting to management. All lawful actions are authorized by management to prevent security violations and protect information.
Key responsibilities include :
Managing security controls for data and information security systemsPlanning and implementing security controlsProviding daily security administrationReviewing audit trails and access violations, reporting issuesAssisting users and resolving problemsResponding to Help Desk calls and maintaining security databasesSupporting Americas Offices and new systemsReviewing and adjusting security controls as neededManaging security for Head Office Systems and Trading Room applicationsLeading specific projects in security administrationAdditional duties include :
