Essential Functions Statement(s) Moves loaded and empty trailers in and out of the docks. Shuttles empty and loaded trailers locally. Works 12-hour shifts (6 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am). Performs manual duties out of the truck as assigned. Ensures product or equipment is inspected & free of damage or contamination. Completes paperwork / documentation properly. Uses a basic computer and or tablet for documentation purposes. Operates handheld radio. Daily housekeeping of the tractor being operated that day. Reports any inconsistencies to the shift supervisor. Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts. Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Ability and willingness to work the voluntary / mandatory overtime that is required during the busy season. Mathematics- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write simple sentences. Skills & Abilities Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Experience : One (1) year CDL driver experience. Computer Skills : Basic computer or tablet skills; hand-held radio. Certificates & Licenses : Valid Class A CDL license.
