Must-Have : Strong experience in trauma preferred; 1 year of Operating Room experience accepted with strong references.

Description :

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contracted position.

The nurse will work primarily in the Operating Room.

Trauma experience is strongly preferred.

The shift schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, typically on weekends.

The nurse will be required to float between like units based on need.

The role includes participation in on-call shifts, usually four shifts in a 13-week period.

Experience in various surgical procedures is valued, including neuro, thoracic, general, orthopedic, plastics, robotics, gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, urology, trauma, and vascular.

The candidate will be expected to work with both adult and occasional pediatric populations.

Daily patient census is approximately 50 patients on weekdays.

The facility operates 18 operating rooms, with additional rooms available on weekends.

Candidates must be willing to commit to working three of the five major holidays throughout the contract period.

All travelers are expected to float between various units within their skill set as needed.

The position may require the use of electronic charting systems.
