A respected behavioral health hospital south of Savannah, GA is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for an inpatient locum tenens assignment. Ideal for providers who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and want schedule flexibility ( full-time or part-time ). Your Impact : Manage admissions and discharges for adult inpatients Conduct medication checks and monitor treatment response Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings (MD, Medical Director, therapists, BHTs) Average 12–16 patients / day Treat co-occurring mental health substance use disorders Document in EMR and maintain inpatient compliance standards ✅ Requirements : Active Georgia APRN license with PMHNP and prescriptive authority 1–3 years of inpatient or adult psychiatry experience preferred (newer PMHNPs with solid training considered) Strong team communication and patient-centered approach What’s Offered : Locum hourly compensation (W2 / 1099 via staffing partner) On-site support : Psychiatrist, Medical Director, Nurse Manager, BHTs, therapists Flexible FT / PT availability; census ~18 Click here for more info and apply directly through NPHire.com.
