Overview

Join to apply for the Manager, Direct Indexing Technologies role at Natixis Investment Managers . Natixis Investment Managers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Manager to lead our Direct Indexing Technology Team. This role leads a team of engineers and collaborates with portfolio managers and portfolio strategists to deliver innovative solutions in the direct indexing space. This position can be located in Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA. It is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence a minimum of 2 / 3 days per week (preferably Tuesday and Wednesday).

What You Will Do

• Drive the technical roadmap for direct indexing capabilities, including tax-loss harvesting and custom indexing.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through agile methodologies, CI / CD practices, and robust testing.
• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Partner with Portfolio, Client Service and Operations teams to define and prioritize features.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on direct indexing solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support career development.
• Stay current with industry trends in wealth tech, portfolio construction, and tax optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Compensation

In accordance with California salary transparency law, the expected annual salary for this San Francisco, CA position is $150,000 - $230,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. Offers are determined on an individualized basis.
