What does it mean to be a Treasury Analyst at GLS?
As a Treasury Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Treasury team that monitors and maintains the company's capital strategy by borrowing from commercial banks, issuing securitization transactions, and executing loan sales. You will perform daily and monthly processes in support of these functions.
How will you drive value within the organization as a Treasury Analyst?
Help plan and prepare daily borrowing requests to banking partnersEvaluate and monitor the eligibility of assets for inclusion in credit facilities, loan sales, and securitizationsProduce and deliver monthly performance reports to third-party loan buyersAssist in the preparation of marketing materials for third parties and investorsAssist in executing and managing various financing transactions by producing reports, data, and analysis as needed for due diligenceHelp to engage and manage various third-party relationships across bank and securitization transactionsWhat should you already know to be successful as a Treasury Analyst?
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering, or a related field requiredBasic knowledge of accounting and financial concepts requiredStrong analytical, problem solving, data gathering, and analysis skills requiredStrong Excel skills required; basic knowledge least one computer coding language (VBA, SQL) preferredHigh level of intellectual curiosity required including the inclination and ability to understand the drivers of financial results and the overall financial picture of the organizationHigh level of professional maturity; verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with senior management requiredStrong drive, ambition, and self-motivation; 'self-starter' with the ability to independently resolve day-to-day issuesExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detailTeam player that can adapt in a fast paced and changing environmentCommitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competenciesEmployment Requirements :
This is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, the days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 30pmRegular, predictable attendance is required, including in excess of 40 hours per week as business demands dictateEvening and weekend work may be required as job duties demandThe position does not require travelSignificant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterityRemain in a stationary position up to 100% of the workdayBe able to perform activities such as : viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, bending, and kneeling
