You'll work closely with Law Professor Emily Ryo to explore complex, longitudinal datasets and contribute to high-impact publications, policy briefs, and public presentations. This role is ideal for students who are intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about data-driven social justice.

What You'll Do :

• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to evaluate hypotheses, conduct legal and social science research, and participate in academic conferences and workshops.
• Support data acquisition, management, and quality control for complex administrative datasets related to immigration courts, judges, and attorneys.
• Conduct interviews with legal professionals, NGOs, academics, and government officials to gather qualitative insights.
• Develop and run statistical analyses using Stata and R; create visualizations including graphs, charts, and tables to interpret findings.
• Document study procedures and prepare codebooks for public release.
• Assist in drafting scholarly articles, policy reports, and presentations for public dissemination.
