Human Resources Intern – Workforce Development & Onboarding

Location : San Antonio, TX

Internship Term : Fall 2025 (with potential extension into Spring 2026)

HOLT Group is seeking a driven and curious Human Resources Intern to join our Workforce Development and Onboarding Team . This internship offers meaningful exposure to corporate HR operations, with opportunities to contribute to impactful projects, receive mentorship, and grow professionally. The role is designed for the Fall 2025 semester and may be extended based on performance and business needs.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Actively enrolled in a college or university program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

Key Responsibilities

  • Support career fairs and hiring events , including setup and teardown
  • Assist with new hire processing in the HRIS system
  • Manage office supply orders for the HR department
  • Coordinate logistics for the New Employee Experience sessions
  • Provide I-9 processing support and manage New Hire Reports
  • Help with intern program communications (welcome emails, session prep)
  • Update onboarding resources (e.g., HOLT Life , Holt Connect , PLP guides )
  • Print and mail employee badges
  • Receive coaching and feedback from HR leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned
