Responsibilities Work in a general ultrasound unit in a hospital setting Shifts are Wednesday and Thursday 10 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM, Friday and Saturday 8 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM Position involves working nights and weekends Technologist will work independently during weekend shifts No on-call requirements Floating to different units or facilities may be required upon manager request Technologist must be comfortable working independently on weekend shifts Weekend staff may be solely responsible for unit operations Local candidates within a 75-mile radius accepted at a local rate All requested time off must be noted at time of consideration BSN is required Scrub attire required as per hospital policy Requirements Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Sonography program Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential within 3 months of graduation, or Certificate of Completion for new graduates Current BLS (AHA) certification required Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds and push / pull up to 50 pounds One year of vascular imaging experience preferred Must have an IL license in hand for consideration; no emergency or pending licensure accepted Two professional references, including one from a recent supervisor, are required Vaccination status must be documented at time of consideration License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626534.
