Are you currently a CFA Level 1 holder working in the United States and looking to service clients in Canada? Join our firm as an International Investment Counsellor to serve high-net-worth clients. Since 2009, Fisher Investments International has focused on private clients, with a structure that separates sales and client service, eliminating prospecting requirements. Use your finance experience to make a difference in the investment universe.

The Opportunity

As an International Investment Counsellor, you will be the voice of Fisher Investments to our Canadian clients. You will collaborate with portfolio decision-makers, research teams, client service associates, and sales teams to provide excellent service. Our fee-only fiduciary model aligns our interests with clients, and our training program offers advanced finance and capital markets education. You will report to a group manager with relevant experience to guide your career development. This position is based in Tampa, FL, and is onsite.

The Day-to-Day

  • Build trusting relationships with Canadian clients
  • Connect quarterly to review asset allocations and progress towards financial goals
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategies, investments, market events, and the competitive landscape
  • Gradually build your client roster with support from our sales team

Qualifications

  • CFA (any level passed) and Series 65 (training provided)
  • 4+ years in portfolio management and client relations
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Client-focused, consultative approach
