About the Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will execute talent acquisition strategy while delivering innovative recruitment and sourcing solutions aligned with hiring leader goals and the university's strategic plan. As the Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you will be part of a team focused on delivering the highest quality service to our internal and external customers, with professionalism and integrity.
This position is based in Morgantown, WV. A combination of on campus and remote work may be available as determined by the department.

What you'll do :
Provide weekly search status reports, assess risks / challenges, and drive solution-oriented results.
Develop and maintain business relationships with key colleges, universities, technical school, student, alumni, and professional associations to build and sustain a pipeline of applicants.
Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of experience involving :
Professional level human resources experience in Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, and Recruitment.
Experience with ATS systems, job promotion, and sourcing tools (Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn and Indeed preferred).
Any equivalent combination of related education and / or experience will be considered.
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organizational, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employment policies and practices.
Must be proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Strong public communication skills that allow the professional representation of WVU to a variety of business, educational, and community associates.
Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to build successful relationships with team members, leaders, and candidates.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn internal HRIS and talent management systems.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the university.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Labor Relations, Business Administration or relevant field.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification is preferred.
