Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. This opening is for a dynamic, compassionate Milieu Manger (FT) (3P-11P shift). (Adults, Children, Adolescents, Geriatric)

A milieu manager is responsible for supervision of milieu operations inside the facility to ensure safe and therapeutic environment, appropriate staffing, and execution of unit programming. Provides milieu and clinical supervision and training to mental health technicians. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care. Interacts closely with patients remaining engaged in the various activities and events that patients experience throughout the day. Works in conjunction with the scheduler and other administration to ensure proper staffing. Assists in the performance evaluation process of MHT'S. Participates in orientation and training of MHT's and other staff. Effectively intervenes and provides leadership during crisis situations.

Qualifications

Minimum : High School diploma or equivalent. CPR and de-escalation certification required. 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient population.

Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health related field and 5 years experience in the mental health field (psychiatric / inpatient or outpatient setting.)
