Shift times and shift length : Day Shift 36 / wk. with potential OT for covering sick-PTO staff

Weekend Requirement :    Alternating

On-call Requirement :    No

Holiday Requirement :   As needed

Any Travel Required :   No

Desired Start Date :   ASAP

Shift / Weekend / On-Call differentials :

If you work during these hours, you get an extra $2.30 per hour on top of your base pay.

If you work during these overnight hours, you get an extra $3.75 per hour .

If you work anytime in this window, you get an extra $3.00 per hour .

Job Description

Epic and Bedside Medication Verification on a routine basis, works unassisted in critical care areas after check offs completed, able to perform all modes of therapy in all areas of hospital after clinical check offs completed, able to assess patients’ needs and suggest appropriate therapy needs per the active RT Protocols, and acts as a mentor to students and new staff.

Required Qualifications : "associate's degree in respiratory care

Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in KS

CRT / RRT credential from NBRC

Basic computer knowledge"

Preferred Qualifications : "Bachelors / master's degree in respiratory care or related field

Additional respiratory therapy education or work experience

Experience in clinical instruction of students

6 months of experience in critical care"

License Required : "Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

CRT / RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) "

Certificates Required :    BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP

Part-time or Full-time :  Full Time (Direct Hire)

Nights (2300–0700 / 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) :

If you work during these overnight hours, you get an extra $3.75 per hour.

Weekend (1900 Friday – 0700 Monday / 7 : 00 PM Friday – 7 : 00 AM Monday) :

If you work anytime in this window, you get an extra $3.00 per hour.
