Position Overview

The Studio Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and long-term systems of the studio , managing finance, HR, IT, facilities, and general administration. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution , and is best suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and taking ownership. You will work closely with the Principal to implement best practices, refine workflows, and strengthen the firm’s organizational foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Partner with the Principal to monitor and improve studio productivity, financial health, and overall operations.
• Develop and refine policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure a well-organized and efficient studio.
• Oversee human resources management , including benefits coordination, recruiting, employee policies, and performance review processes.
• Provide leadership in maintaining a positive, professional, and collaborative studio culture .
• Liaise with outside advisors (accounting, HR, IT, insurance) to ensure best practices are implemented.
