Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a dedicated Application Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. As an Application Security Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Security Department supporting application development and security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Title : Application Security Analyst

Location : Remote (working within the US and working East Coast Hours)

Pay Range : $65-68 / hr W2

(due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis\' W2)

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze application vulnerabilities using advanced security tools and techniques.
• Work closely with application development teams to remediate security issues and improve application resilience.
• Document security assessments, decisions, and remediation steps to maintain comprehensive audit trails.
• Conduct application penetration testing and validate false positive vulnerabilities with thorough evidence gathering.
• Create and manage filters and queries to generate detailed security reports for internal teams.
