The engineer is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining processes and solutions that will allow the business to make critical data-driven decisions. In coordination with project teams and IT management, the engineer will work with the business in defining project scope, requirements, and timeline for deliverables.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information
Systems, or a closely related field.
Seven years of experience in the solution development life cycle
for developing and maintaining data processing and reporting applications.
Extensive experience with :
Designing and implementing data, analytical and reporting ecosystems.
Data transformation development (ETL / ELT) tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, etc.).
Reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Infor Birst, or other similar tools.
Data modeling tools such as ER / Studio or Erwin.
Performance tuning and database design for SQL Server.
Building Operational Data Stores, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lake Houses.
Working with non-relational data sources such as flat files, excel files, JSON files, and APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with :
One or more Cloud Data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Emerging technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Data quality
management and master data management, including tools such as Talend or
Informatica
