Maintenance Mechanic

Similarly, in recent years, we have gone beyond being just parking garage experts and are now journeymen in control buildings, manufacturing facilities, and building shells WE SPECIALIZE IN SERVICES 1) Parking garages 2) Architectural Cladding 3) Industrial facilities 4) Design Assist Projects This opportunity is a full-time position.

This position works outdoors year-round, subject to all weather elements and temperatures.

We provide water and hydrants.

This person must have a strong tolerance to walk a lot, ability to climb ladders and stairs, Position requires long periods of standing and sitting and the ability to work long hours if necessary and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.   Duties / Responsibilities :

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy Truck and Diesel Engines as specified in manufacturer designed procedures or accepted industry practices.
• complete all paperwork including repair information on work orders, information for state inspections, etc.
• Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.   Required Skills / Abilities :

• Preferable with experience with diesel Engines and Heavy Truck maintenance Education and Experience :
• High School Diploma
• Vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
