Starting at $21.79 / hour → Increases to $22.88 / hour upon obtaining CDL

Position Overview

As a Service Route Operator, you'll assist in the collection of solid waste along an established route, primarily operating a two-person truck servicing yard waste customers. This position offers daytime hours , typically Tuesday through Friday , allowing for a stable and predictable schedule.

Operate refuse trucks to collect solid waste, recyclables, yard, and bulk materials

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and proper function of assigned vehicles

Navigate routes independently and safely using maps or GPS

Deliver courteous, dependable service to residents and businesses

Qualifications :

Possess a Class B CDL permit before starting employment

Ability to earn full Class B CDL within 3 months of hire (Paid CDL Training Program available)

Familiarity with waste collection equipment and safety procedures

Knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods

Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and as a team

Pay & Career Progression :

$21.79 / hour starting pay with CDL permit

$22.88 / hour after obtaining full CDL
