Assortment Planner, Nordstrom Kid's Active & Non-Active Shoes - Hybrid (Seattle, WA)

Job Description

The assortment planner and the buyer are jointly accountable to meet and exceed departmental sales volume, merch-margin-return-on-investment (MMROI) and deliver against EBIT company targets.

A day in the life

• Reconcile merchandise financial, supplier and assortment plans ensuring it captures key product and customer strategies and are achievable.
• Direct the analysis and use of information to improve the depth and precision of the buy.
• Manage and direct inventory management in season; ensuring effective decision making around analysis, markdowns, claims, re-orders, etc.
• Partner with the buyer and other cross functional partners on business reviews, open-to-buy management and plan revisions to achieve financial goals and strategic objectives.
• Teach, coach and motivate direct reports to drive in season performance management and become superior partners in planning assortments and quantifying the buy.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$103,500.00 - $175,000.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives / bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical / vision / dental / life / disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
