Title : Patient Access Specialist
Employment type : Contract (13 weeks)
Location : Float between Cuyahoga Falls & Kent, OH
Hours : M-F, standard business hours
Pay rate : $18-22 / hour, DOE
Essential Job Functions / Accountabilities.
Register patients accurately in Cerner and Centricity systems.
Explaining patient financial responsibilities, including out of pocket costs and copays
Following standardized check-in procedures, ensuring all required forms are completed, signed, and scanned.
Performing insurance verification
Stay current with procedures related to point-of-service registration, pre-registration, charge entry, insurance verification, authorizations, and scheduling.
Qualifications :
Experience in patient registration and insurance verification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Proficiency in Cerner, Centricity, and insurance eligibility systems is a plus.
Pay Details : $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
