  • A  master’s-level licensed  professional in Ohio.
  • Experience in  diagnosing and treating mental disorders  using evidence-based therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Conduct regular appointments with clients in multiple places of service which could include : community mental health office, nursing homes, community programs, etc.
  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
  • Implement evidenced-based treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations
  • Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance
  • Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clients.
  • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
  • Creates individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances.
  • Meets with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
  • Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
  • Refers client to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
  • Maintains thorough and timely records of patient meetings and progress.
  • Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
  • Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain caseload and visit frequency established at first session.
  • Works as part of interdisciplinary team and seeks consultation when needed.
  • Reports directly to the Clinical Director.
  • Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related field
  • Meet all necessary state licensure requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
  • Solid relationship-building capabilities
  • A positive and compassionate attitude
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
  • Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
  • Passion for advancing the therapy field
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Job Types : Full-time, Flexible hours

    Expected hours : 40 per week
