The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking a visionary Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to lead and expand our corporate and foundation fundraising program. This role is responsible for developing strategies to increase philanthropic support from corporations, foundations, associations, and other organizations, advancing the university's 13 colleges, key initiatives, and research programs.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, the Executive Director will collaborate closely with faculty, administrators, and Advancement professionals to cultivate new relationships with prospective organizational funders whose priorities align with the university's research, teaching, and community engagement missionespecially those not yet deeply engaged with UNR. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape an emerging corporate and foundation relations program and to have a meaningful impact on the university's growth, research, and public engagement.
Minimum Required Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of related professional work experience OR Master's Degree and three (3) years of related professional work experience in creating, leading and managing a corporate foundation relations program, preferably in higher education, healthcare or large national non-profit, or related.
Schedule or Travel Requirements : Flexible in work duties and schedule. Travel and weekend work necessary.
Compensation Grade : Administrative Faculty D. Salary is competitive and commensurate with related education and experience.
