Estate And Trust Manager Position

Minimum Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with appropriate accounting hours and Texas CPA license
- 10+ years experience in estate and trust tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of private foundations, family office structures, and related tax implications
- Thorough knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
- Authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship
Responsibilities
Estate And Trust Tax Planning
Develop comprehensive tax strategies for clients with high net worth, ensuring efficient wealth transfer and minimizing tax liabilitiesCollaborate with clients and other professionals to understand their financial goals and create personalized tax plansCompliance Oversight
Manage and oversee the preparation of estate and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulationsStay abreast of changes in tax codes and regulations, advising clients and the firm on potential impacts on estate and trust mattersPrivate Foundations And Family Office Work
Provide expertise in structuring and managing private foundations, including compliance with tax requirementsWork closely with family offices to address tax implications, facilitate smooth operations, and optimize financial structuresTeam Leadership
Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance on complex tax issues and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environmentRole Success Factors
