Mechanical Engineer

Selectek is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join an established MEP firm that specializes in HVAC design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of HVAC systems for healthcare and commercial buildings. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop efficient and sustainable mechanical systems.

A successful candidate will have the following background and abilities :

• Revit Modeling / Design
• Multidiscipline Project Management
• Client Relations
• Knowledgeable of various HVAC Systems Design
• Contract Administration (Shop Drawings, RFI's, Site Visits / Reports)
• Multitasking between various projects
• Sustainable Design (LEED Accreditation a plus)
• Energy Modeling experience a plus

Minimum Requirements for Consideration :

Preferred :

Sponsorship : No

Pay range : $38 / hour - $50 / hour depending on experience

Term of assignment : 6 months contract to direct

Pay method when direct : Salary no overtime pay

Location of job : Atlanta 30340

Hours and shift : Monday Friday 8AM 5PM

Work from home : Possible to get approval for 1-2 days down the road if necessary

Working remote : No

Overtime expected : If needed to meet deadlines

Travel : Local meetings during the day

Work attire : Business Casual

Does the client require a background check? Yes

Drug screen : Not required for employment but they do have random testing
