This position supports the Florida Conservation Corps (FLCC) AmeriCorps program, located within the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The FLCC is a statewide program with staff and AmeriCorps members serving across state parks and regional offices. The program focuses on conservation, preservation, interpretation, resource-based recreation, and disaster response support.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of : State budgeting processes and financial procedures; computer operations and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant tools); disaster response protocols and safety procedures.
Skills in : Budget management and financial tracking; clear and effective verbal and written communication; utilizing virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom); preparing accurate and timely reports; conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.
Abilities : Speak confidently in both small and large groups; assist in planning and coordinating large-scale events; follow instructions with attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision; interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; collaborate with diverse teams; apply critical thinking and problem-solving; maintain a valid driver's license and travel as required; uphold professional standards and represent the program with integrity; adapt to a fast-paced environment.
