UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.Responsibilities
Performs ultrasound procedures for all ages by utilizing imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Overtime and call back may be required by the hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements :
High School graduate or equivalent.Qualified second year student from an allied Health Echocardiography programEcho Registry eligible per ICAEL standardsBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.CPR Certified Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date.Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.Preferred Job Requirements :
Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studiesMinimum of 1 year of patient care experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studiesJ-18808-Ljbffr
