Description :

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical / surgical telemetry.

The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical patients.

The role may involve serving as a Charge RN when needed.

The nurse will be required to float as needed.

Nurses are expected to manage patient care with a ratio of 1 : 6.

Blood product administration, peripheral line care management, and starting IVs will be part of the responsibilities.

Isolation precautions will be practiced.

Candidates must have prior charge experience.

Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.

Travel experience is required.

Candidates must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.

Flexibility with scheduling is essential, and compliance deadlines must be adhered to.

There are zero tolerance policies for tardiness and unexcused absences.

All candidates must meet compliance requirements prior to the start date.

Candidates will work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, and other services.

The position requires knowledge of various procedures and the ability to care for adult and geriatric patients.
