Facilities Maintenance Manager

This position will supervise and lead the operation of the plant maintenance department with a hands-on approach, within a highly automated laundry. Responsible for proper preventative maintenance of equipment, safe and reliable operating condition of the equipment and the facility, wastewater oversight and compliance, day-to-day repair maintenance and support, department administration and reporting, project work, and training / development of the maintenance team. Works closely with the General Manager, Production Manager, Maintenance, and Engineering leaders, and the plant team to ensure operating needs are met.

Essential Job Functions : Maintenance team leadership including personnel scheduling, training and coaching. Teamwork and collaboration with key operational partners including the General Manager, Production Management, and Regional Engineering support. Oversight and execution of a computer-based Preventative Maintenance Program with oversight of his / her team; repair actions and urgent response to failed equipment. Hands-on advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capability; focus on automation and controls. Critical spare parts ordering and inventory management. Maintain operational, safety, and environmental compliance; record data, record retention, and reporting; includes wastewater compliance, safety training, logs, record submittal, computerized maintenance.

Collaborate with Plant Manager and Operations leaders to find efficiency and manage budget. Timely and robust preventative maintenance on equipment and the facility; oversight & execution. Coaching, staffing, performance management, task assignment of maintenance team; projects.

Minimum Qualifications : Education Requirements : 2 yrs in trade skills (plumbing, electrical, controls, PLC, welding, mechanical systems). Work Experience Requirements : 5+ yrs industrial equip maintenance; 2+ yrs maintenance supervisory experience. Specific Skills and Competencies : Electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety compliance (e.g. LOTO, hot work, confined space). Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc : Boiler operator license (some states), computerized preventative maintenance systems.

Working Environment : Comfortable in a dusty and noisy environment. Work required in industrial setting; Protective personal equipment as required; Maintenance related work.
