Director of Business and Finance

The Goizueta Business School is looking for a Director of Business and Finance to join their team!

Key Responsibilities :

• Plans, administers and monitors the financial and operational policies and procedures of a school or major organizational unit.
• Coordinates and participates in the strategic planning process.
• Develops short and long term financial goals and implements fiscal policies to support the financial viability of the organization.
• Assesses cash needs, manages cash flow and maximizes the appropriate use of funds.
• May negotiate and sign contracts; oversees the preparation of operations and grant budgets; monitors compliance.
• May coordinate auditing activities of independent public accountants.
• Develops, implements and maintains computer-based accounting systems.
• May oversee the administration and maintenance of organizational information systems.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with banks, auditors and other constituents.
• May represent the organization in external financial or business activities.
• Develops and prepares operational and statistical reports.
• Trains and supervises staff.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Note : Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
