Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation. Minimum 2 years related experience and / or training in Inventory Control. Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and / or training in warehouse environment. Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker / high lift. Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred). Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, Coordinating Cycle Count programs, Product rotation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors in items stored.
- Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
- Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
- Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
- Prepares composite reports from individual reports of Inventory Specialists.
- Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Issue written / oral instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
