Position Overview :
Our client, a well-established public accounting firm in Virginia Beach, is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in individual taxation (1040s) and the ability to lead and mentor staff in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and review complex individual (1040), partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and seniors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships by delivering high-quality service
- Identify planning opportunities and provide value-added tax advisory support
