Join Our Team as a Neonatologist!

Are you a passionate, board-certified neonatologist with a desire to make a difference in the lives of critically ill newborns? Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center in East Los Angeles, CA, is looking for you to join our dedicated team at the White Memorial Neonatal Medical Group (WMNMG).

Your Role :

As a neonatologist, you will provide specialized care to level III NICU infants, managing critical newborn care from 22 weeks gestational age and above. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subspecialists, while also mentoring family medicine residents. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive environment that values teamwork and communication.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert care for level III NICU patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialties.
  • Mentor family medicine residents rotating in the NICU.
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary rounds and monthly M&M rounds.
  • Manage critical care for newborns, including conventional and HFOV support.
  • Provide remote night coverage from home within a 30-minute driving distance.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Experience : At least 3 years in the care of level III NICU patients.
  • Skills : Strong teamwork and communication skills with parents and the NICU team.
  • Licensure : Must hold a California medical license or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Work Schedule : Flexible week on / week off block schedule.
  • Coverage : Expected to cover 1-2 federal holidays per year.
