As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol - PT in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will enhance the experience for everyone on site. Pay Rate : $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the location to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related observations encountered during the shift.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
