Position : Sales Manager – Industrial Services
IEM is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to accelerate business growth and lead a dynamic, high-performing sales team. This role provides the chance to shape sales strategy, mentor motivated professionals, and play a key role in strengthening IEM's impact and presence in the industrial services market .
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets, contributing directly to the company's growth.
- Set individual sales quotas and performance metrics for both outside and inside sales team members.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative approaches to penetrate target industries.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Team Management & Development
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of two Outside Sales Representatives and one Inside Sales Representative.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance effectiveness.Facilitate sales training and development programs to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management.Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.Revenue Generation & Client Acquisition
Drive the sales team to achieve the Annual Company Team Revenue Target.Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring consistency and efficiency.Actively support the team in identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.Engage directly with key customers to support complex deal closings and ensure smooth onboarding.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets and KPIs.Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for senior management.Ensure the team's adherence to sales processes, CRM utilization, and accurate reporting.Profitability Management
Ensure sales are conducted at healthy gross profit margins, aligned with company profitability goals.Marketing Collaboration
Work with the marketing team to develop effective sales enablement materials, campaigns, and promotional strategies.Provide market feedback to refine messaging and identify new product / service opportunities.Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and marketing activities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.Qualifications
Experience
5–7 years of progressive sales experience in industrial services, including at least 2–3 years in sales management or team leadership.Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Experience managing both outside and inside sales teams.Familiarity with new product introductions and distribution in a sales context.Skills
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.Strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Deep understanding of the electric motor industrial services market and sales dynamics.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
