Role Summary :
The Sales Manager serves as PureGreen’s growth leader, owning the strategy, structure, and execution of all new business development efforts. This role is directly responsible for driving top-line revenue, opening new markets, and building a high-performing sales team that reflects the company's values and ambition. The Sales Manager plays a critical role in shaping company direction by collaborating with ownership and branch leadership on long-term growth planning, pipeline forecasting, and market positioning. This is a senior-level leadership role with broad influence across departments and direct impact on PureGreen’s future.
Core Responsibilities :
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent
- Train and mentor Sales Representatives to meet individual and team performance goals
- Set clear expectations, KPIs, and development plans for each team member
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings to track progress and support performance
Sales Strategy & Growth Planning
Own and execute PureGreen’s revenue growth and market expansion strategyDevelop quarterly and annual sales plans that align with company targetsAnalyze pipeline, close rates, and lead sources to improve strategyIdentify growth markets and opportunities across service linesBusiness Development & Client Acquisition
Generate new business through outreach, networking, and lead generation systemsBuild relationships with local associations, referral partners, and prospectsEnsure strong CRM usage and disciplined lead follow-up by the teamAssign and balance leads across Sales Representatives based on capacity and fitClient Relationship Development
Serve as the face of PureGreen with strategic prospects during the sales processMaintain relationships with key clients to identify upsell and expansion opportunitiesEnsure seamless handoff from sales to Account Management and OperationsSupport long-term client retention through initial sales experience qualityProposal & Estimating Oversight
Review proposals for accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with goalsCollaborate with Estimators to ensure consistent pricing and margin targetsApprove final proposals before delivery to prospectsMaintain proposal quality standards and support estimating process improvementsCollaboration & Communication
Work closely with Branch Managers, Account Managers, and Operations to align sales and deliveryCommunicate prospect feedback to help refine offerings and service approachParticipate in strategic planning sessions with ownership and department leadersPromote alignment between sales efforts and operational capabilitiesExpectations & Standards :
