Summary of Position : Cost Accountant applies the principles of cost accounting to provide detailed expense and revenue information beyond what is supplied by the general ledger.

This application of accounting principles will at times require the preparation of detailed billing invoices for presentation to our customers.

Maintain detailed cost accounting systems tailored to program services.

Cost Accounts reviews and audits payments on vendor accounts processed by the Accounts Payable Coordinator.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and forecasts.

Collaborate and communicate with other departments to improve cost efficiency.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in non-profit sectors a plus.
