This is an opportunity to work with the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) in meeting the mission of administering the nation's lawful immigration system.

Hiring hourly rate of pay : $17.75 (hourly rate set by SCA)

• This position is regulated by the Department of Labor (DOL) as a Service Contract Act (SCA) contract. The DOL regulates the minimum hourly rate of pay, holiday and vacation leave benefits, and Health and Welfare (H&W) money.

Job Description : As a Biometric Technician (BT), you will be responsible for supporting the mission of a government program located in Sioux Falls, SD. This position works as a part of a dynamic team of professionals assisting the United States Citizenship and Immigration (USCIS) Application Support Center (ASC) operations. Amentum provides all required job training for qualified candidates.

On Call (casual) employees are expected to be available all five days, Monday through Friday from the hours of 7 : 45am to 4 : 15pm for substitute coverage as needed at the site. This is not a regular Full Time or regular Part Time position; it is a Casual On-Call position.

This position must be able to work with the public, display a cheerful and inviting demeanor, smile, manage the applicants with sensitivity, courtesy and ensure the applicant is treated with respect as a customer of the USCIS ASC.
