Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in designing, building, and deploying Generative AI solutions within Palantir, leveraging Ontology, Object Types, and AIP logic.
• Define the roadmap and strategy for GenAI adoption in AIP, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational workflows.
• Oversee the fine-tuning and adaptation of foundation models using Foundry-integrated pipelines, including custom training datasets and model evaluation logic.
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable RAG pipelines using AIP Logics / Foundry Code Workbooks, embedding models, and vector database integrations (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB).
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model evaluation, and bias mitigation within Foundry’s governance and audit framework.
• Partner with product, engineering, and MLOps teams to deliver end-to-end AI workflows, integrating GenAI outputs into Workshop applications, APIs, and dashboards.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in LLMs, transformers, and GenAI, and translate them into Foundry-native implementations for continuous innovation.
• Represent the Data Science team in leadership forums, communicating Palantir-centric technical concepts and business impact clearly.
