NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineer / Geologist to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects based from our Panama City Beach, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include :

  • Staff engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (both Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing / Inspection)
  • Assisting with project management & reporting
  • Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
  • Report preparation
  • Client consultation and maintenance
  • Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have :

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
  • Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • 0 -1 years Construction Materials experience preferred, not required
  • EIT or GIT is preferred, or ability to obtain in 3 - 6 months
  • Strong communication skills
  • Position entails approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office with occasional travel.
