VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Critical Care Unit.

Coverage Details :

  • Coverage needed per month 24hr / hourly shifts / shifts call etc : 12hr night shifts 6p-6a
  • Frequency of any Call needed : no call
  • Schedule Details start / end times days of the week etc : specifically right now December 29-Jan 3 shifts are 6pm-6am.

    • Work Details :

  • Support staff : one MD / one APP possibly a Fellow
  • Department Description : inpatient critical care
  • Patient Volume : 25 on average during shift
  • Patient Age Group : adults
  • EMR / Documentation System : Epic
  • Special Procedures / Unit Details : Arterial Line Chest Tube Central Line Thoracentesis Paracentesis Lumbar punctures Vent Management

    • Requirements :

  • Are Board Certifications Req’d? : BC required in Critical Care if Pulmonary needs CC Pulm BC
  • Which State Licenses Req’d? : TN
  • Certifications Req’d? BLS / ACLS / etc : BLS ACLS
  • Specific Skills Req’d? : procedural
  • CSR Req’d? : Yes
  • DEA Req’d? : Yes TN
  • Minimum Experience Req’d # of years : 2
  • Are vaccines mandatory? : yes - MMR flu TB skin test or cleared chest x-ray
  • Any additional requirements / details to screen for? : NPI name clear

    • Credentialing / Privileging Timeframe : 60-90 days with clean files can get temps.

    Are you willing To License? : No
