Salary : Overview
The Fleet Division Dispatcher will manage daily routing, driver communication, and equipment scheduling for local operations. This position plays a key role in coordinating movement between our warehouses, job sites, and clients while maintaining compliance with all DOT and company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign daily local routes for CDL drivers.
- Dispatch drivers and equipment for pickups, deliveries, and project site moves.
- Track and communicate real-time updates using GPS and telematics systems.
- Maintain accurate trip records, load status, and delivery confirmations in the TMS (BrokerPro).
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and project managers to ensure timely operations.
- Monitor driver HOS and ensure DOT compliance at all times.
- Review and process daily DVIRs, BOLs, and dispatch documentation.
- Assist the Fleet Manager with scheduling preventive maintenance and equipment allocation.
- Support KPI tracking and performance reporting (on-time deliveries, cost per trip, etc.).
Qualifications
2+ years of dispatching or logistics coordination experience (fleet or transportation industry preferred).Knowledge of TMS platforms (BrokerPro or similar).Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and telematics systems (Samsara, Geotab, etc.).Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.Understanding of DOT compliance, HOS rules, and fleet safety procedures.Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or transportation coursework a plus
