Overview

Job Title : .NET Core Contractor - Payment UI & Backend (PCI Compliance)

Location : Chevy Chase, MD

Work Type : Remote

Duration : 3 months

Pay Range : $70 - $90 / Hr

This role is for a seasoned .NET Core Contractor to enhance payment UI and backend components to meet PCI DSS compliance. A key part of the work involves modifying the payment flow to integrate with Chase Page Encryption, ensuring secure transmission of sensitive payment data.

Responsibilities

  • Modify and enhance the existing payment UI and backend to integrate with Chase Page Encryption.
  • Ensure full compliance with PCI DSS standards throughout the payment experience.
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and QA teams to validate encryption, conduct secure deployments, and support rigorous testing.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to overall architecture and security improvements.
  • Produce clean, maintainable code and relevant technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in .NET Core / C# for backend development.
  • Frontend development experience with HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Prior experience integrating with payment encryption solutions, preferably Chase Page Encryption or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of PCI DSS standards and secure software development practices.
  • Experience with REST APIs, secure form handling, and data protection.
  • Experience in working with relational databases, preferably Oracle and SQL Server. Proficient in writing SQL queries.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous involvement in achieving PCI compliance for online payment systems.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools and secure deployment workflows.
  • Solid understanding of application-layer encryption and key management.
