Aja Video is hiring : Network Engineer in Grass Valley

Under general supervision of the VP of Engineering, the Network Engineer plans, implements, manages, maintains, and troubleshoots all development video and data networks.

Requirements :

• Plan, design, and install cabling (optical, coax, copper), both 12G SDI and 100 GB networks, campus wide.
• Responsible for creating and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices related to the networks usage and data protection.
• Work with Engineers and QA Staff to support projects and lead network issue diagnosis throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage the networks, test equipment, and endpoints as efficiently as possible and make recommendations for upgrades, expansions, etc. as demands require.
• Collaborate with corporate IT to ensure network security.

Education and Experience :

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. The base salary for this position is $101,709 – 139,850. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience, education, training and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
