We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment and systems in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and mechanical equipment, with a particular focus on repair, packaging equipment, CMMS, AC / DC motors, power distribution, and food manufacturing. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation.

2. Troubleshoot and repair broken or malfunctioning equipment, including AC / DC motors and power distribution systems.

3. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.

4. Install, maintain, and repair packaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

5. Perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers and micrometers.

6. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations within the facility.

7. Work closely with the engineering team to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.

8. Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay current with relevant technology and industry trends.

9. Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline the maintenance process.

10. Assist in the implementation of new machinery and equipment.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering or related industry.

2. Proven experience in repairing, maintaining, and installing packaging equipment.

3. Solid knowledge of CMMS, AC / DC motors, and power distribution systems.

4. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

5. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.

7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. High degree of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

10. Relevant certifications or vocational training is preferred.

11. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

12. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
