GALAXY LIFTS – ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Galaxy Lifts is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join as an Electrical Technician to join our production team that will support the company’s overall growth strategy by assembling, testing, and preparing products and accessories for our cargo lifts.

    • WHAT THE ROLE DOES :

  • Assemble low voltage equipment and accessories using hand and power tools with a high attention to detail.
  • Read work instructions / routings, and cutting, stripping and crimping electrical wire.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installations and repairs.
  • Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance or integrate new technology.
  • Effectively install and operate machinery on the lifts after proper training is complete.
  • Test new equipment, inspect existing systems, and calibrate instruments to ensure proper performance.
  • Organize and inventory stock material, hardware, parts, etc. in the electrical room and warehouse.
  • Maintain a neat, efficient workplace where there is a commitment to safety and following workplace procedures.
  • Communicate with Supervisor and peers to maximize productivity and ensure assembly targets are met.

    • THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, specifically with low voltage electrical wiring or other related technical fields preferred.
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and solve electrical problems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Expertise in using a variety of manual and power tools for installation and repair.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to colleagues and supervisors.
  • Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and safety in all tasks.
  • Local to Mabank-Athens, TX or willing to relocate.
  • Highly ethical, positive culture addition, self-motivated.
